Learn How an Organization Can Ensure Compliance with the FMLA Law
“The FMLA is a minefield. The statute and its accompanying regulations have so many nuances that the unwary employer easily violates the statute. Most employers want to comply – they just don’t know where all the mines are.” - Susan Fahey Desmond
The Family and Medical Leave Act is one of the most difficult (and frequently violated) employment law statutes. Almost no one gets it right. While most employers recognize (and support) an employee’s need for leave from time to time, employers find that when FMLA is involved, they seem that they don’t have any rights. Employers who sit back and say, “there’s nothing I can do, it is FMLA,” will find employees who will abuse the system. Employee leave abuse is expensive and time consuming – not to mention the morale problem because this individual’s co-worker is picking up the slack. This webinar will walk you through what you are required to provide to your employees and how to exercise your rights to curb employee FMLA abuse.
